LANSING, Mich. — Mostly clear skies tonight will allow temperatures to fall back into the lower 60s by sunrise Friday morning. A day that begins with sunshine will end with more heat, humidity and a few showers or storms later in the afternoon.
Any showers or storms that pop up tomorrow should be short-lived, as most of the day still looks mainly dry for many. By the sunset skies will begin to clear once again, and we'll have another comfortable evening out there.
The bulk of the weekend features lots of sunshine, low humidity and comfortable temperatures that will run a bit cooler than this past week. Highs will be close to normal in the middle 70s with dry conditions.
Heat returns early next week with a day or two in the 90s not out of the question. Some moisture from the Gulf of Mexico could be pulled northward into our area bringing a good soaking of rain... We'll be watching this closely over the next couple days.
Enjoy the dry and comfortable weekend. It should be a great one for backyard barbecues and outdoor activities!
