LANSING, Mich. — A nice start to the work week. Mostly sunny this afternoon with highs in the upper 60s. Temperatures today will be below average for mid-September, but it will still be a nice day with light winds and plentiful sunshine. Mainly clear skies tonight with chilly temperatures as lows dip into the mid and upper 40s.
Hazy sunshine, but still mostly sunny Tuesday and Wednesday with temperatures slowly creeping upwards each day. Highs reach the mid 70s Tuesday, which is near normal for this time of the year, temperatures reach the upper 70′s on Wednesday. A cold front drops through Wednesday night bringing a chance for a few showers late overnight and through the morning Thursday.
Thursday through the weekend will be colder once the front moves through. Highs in the mid 60s Thursday and it will be partly cloudy once the rain moves out in the afternoon. Feeling chilly Friday and Saturday with highs that only reach the low 60s! Mostly sunny Friday, a few more clouds Saturday trending partly cloudy. A few showers possible Saturday night. Dry and partly cloudy Sunday with moderating temperatures. Highs reach the upper 60s Sunday afternoon.
