LANSING, Mich. — Good Thursday morning everyone! Looks like another beautiful and warm day is in store for us across Mid-Michigan with lots of sun and temperatures climbing back into the mid to upper 70's. A cold front will drop southward into the northern lower peninsula today and stall out into tomorrow morning. For us, we will just see periods of increased cloudiness, but for the most part our skies will remain clear, and we will be dry with showers staying north of our region.
Tomorrow, the front does lift back to the north as a warm front, and our temperatures climb a bit higher to around 80 degrees with winds shifting to the south. Saturday will be another nice day with temps getting into the lower 80's ahead of an approaching system that will move in Sunday.
This upper level system will stay with us through much of the next workweek bringing rounds of showers and much cooler air that will make things feel a lot more fall-like across Mid-Michigan. Highs next week will only be in the 50's from Tuesday onward.
