LANSING, Mich. — Temperatures start near 30 degrees on Sunday morning but rise well into the 40s by noon. Most folks will make a run at 50 later in the afternoon under a mostly sunny sky, with just a few more afternoon clouds.
Soak up the early tease to spring while it's here, because the forecast is looking sloppy for much of the coming week. High temperatures will be falling into the mid-20s by late week with overnight lows in the teens.
Rain will arrive very late in the day Monday with a mix of rain and snow sticking around Tuesday. Snow could accumulate by Wednesday, so that forecast will need to be watched closely.
As the messy weather wraps up Thursday morning, it will become breezy as the sky tries to clear out on Thursday afternoon. Wind diving down from the northwest will bring in the next round of chillier air.
