LANSING, Mich. — Windy today with falling temperatures. Our Monday is starting off with scattered light rain, but we should dry out by noon, from there it will be cloudy the rest of the day. Temperatures in the low 50s this morning are our high temperatures for the day, we will cool into the 40s this afternoon, with temperatures in the upper 30s by this evening. The biggest story today though will be the wind. A Wind Advisory is in effect for the state until 8 P.M. with gusts up to 50 MPH possible. The strongest winds will be between noon and 5 P.M. with west winds at 20-30 MPH sustained and consistent gusts over 40 MPH. Winds will diminish some overnight but it stays breezy with 15-20 MPH sustained winds. Lows overnight will be cold with temperatures in the upper 20s. Decreasing clouds tonight. Tuesday will be chilly and breezy. Winds will continue to diminish through the day tomorrow and should be light from the west at 5-10 MPH by Tuesday evening. A mix of sun and clouds tomorrow with chilly temperatures in the low 40s. Wednesday is partly cloudy and Thursday is mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40s. A chance for a wintry mix changing over to rain Friday with highs still stuck in the mid 40s. We will warm up into the low and mid 50s by the weekend with some rain possible early Sunday.
