Storms Tonight, Some Strong

LANSING, Mich. — Warm and breezy today with highs that reach the low 80s. Mostly sunny for a good portion on the day, clouds will build later this evening. A cold front will bring scattered thunderstorms through the area, the rain should hold off until late this evening closer to around the time the sun sets. Storms will move southeast tonight, and some storms may be strong with gusty winds and heavy rain. Low temperatures overnight fall into the upper 50s. Rain clears quickly and we will be dry by sun rise Friday. Tomorrow looks nice. Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70s. Cooler for the holiday weekend with a chance for rain late Saturday into early Sunday. Labor Day Monday looks nice with plenty of sun and highs near 80 degrees.
