LANSING, Mich. — Mostly cloudy to start the day. Dry through the lunch hour before scattered storms move in late this afternoon. There will be a short lull in activity for a very short time before stronger more widespread thunderstorms move in late this evening. This second batch of storms will last overnight with heavy rain and hail possible. Highs today reach the low 70s. Lows overnight in the upper 50s. Showers linger through the morning hours Saturday. We will dry out Saturday afternoon, although a few showers may linger south of I-94. Highs in the upper 60s, Mainly dry with a small chance for isolated showers possible Sunday, highs once again in the upper 60s. A major warm up Monday and Tuesday with highs in the mid 80s and partly cloudy skies.
