LANSING, Mich. — We’re in for a beautiful Thursday with seasonable temperatures and plenty of sunshine. Plan for all day sunshine with high temperatures topping out near 66 degrees. Skies will remain mostly clear tonight with lows dropping to near 40 degrees. Friday will be mostly sunny, but the big weather story for tomorrow will be the winds. We’re forecasting southwesterly winds gusting around 30-35 mph tomorrow afternoon, with isolated gusts close to 40 mph possible. With a strong south-southwesterly wind flow, temperatures will warm into the mid 70s.
Saturday and Sunday look nice with partly cloudy skies and high temperatures slightly above average for this time of October. Saturday’s highs will be in the low to mid 70s and then we’ll return to the upper 60s for Sunday. Our next chance of rain will move in Monday night and into early Tuesday.
