LANSING, Mich. — Stubborn clouds moved off this afternoon setting us up with a good deal of sunshine, but temps remained on the cool side only getting into the mid 30's. Tonight will be another chilly one as our temperatures plunge into the low to mid 20's and we will see clouds thicken up a bit as an upper level impulse darts by to the west. At the surface, high pressure is in control and that will keep us dry for the next several days, but aloft we have a couple of these disturbances that look to move through over the next few days bringing intervals of increased cloud cover.
No problems for tomorrow as the first disturbance moves off and skies clear once again allowing a day full of sunshine, but our temps remain cool (but seasonable) in the 30's thanks to a northerly flow, which continues to welcome a chill into the state.
We stay dry next week through Thursday with temps warming up again with the warmest day Thursday as highs reach the mid to upper 40's. By next Friday our weather pattern becomes more active.
