LANSING, Mich. — Our weather pattern remains fairly quiet for the rest of the work week. Today will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy with temperatures warming to near 30 degrees this afternoon. Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight with lows dropping into the low to mid 20s. Clouds will thicken up quickly Wednesday morning as a system passes just southeast of the area. We may see a few flurries or light snow showers tomorrow, but most areas stay dry. Best chance for snow will be along and south of I-94 with minor accumulations.
A little more sunshine can be expected for Thursday and Friday. Plan for partly cloudy skies both days. Highs in the low 30s Thursday, and then slightly warmer temperatures Friday with highs in the mid to upper 30s for the end of the work week.
The weekend will bring a small chance of scattered rain and snow showers on Saturday. Some light snow or rain may linger early Sunday with partly cloudy skies expected through the day. Temperatures will reach into the upper 30s both Saturday and Sunday.
