LANSING, Mich. — A mix of clouds and sun early today then turning just mostly cloudy after the lunch hour. Scattered light rain likely this afternoon from about 1 P.M. to 8 P.M. after that we will be dry. Highs this afternoon stay mild reaching the mid 40s. Mostly cloudy overnight with lows in the low 30s. A quick shot of light snow may run through the area Wednesday morning putting a dusting of snow on the ground. Any snow will melt quickly with highs in the low 40s and partly sunny skies Wednesday afternoon. Thursday is dry during the day before rain arrives in the evening. High temperatures in the mid to upper 40s Thursday afternoon. Rain may mix with a few snowflakes Thursday night with lows in the low 30s. Dry with clearing skies Friday. It will be cooler with highs in the upper 30s. Temperatures rebound big time this weekend. Mostly sunny and highs in the upper 40s Saturday, mid 50s Sunday! Rain returns next Monday but it stays mild with highs in the mid 50s.
