LANSING, Mich. — A mix of sun and clouds today with highs in the mid 50s, it should be a nice end to the work week. Rain returns to the area tonight and will spread northeast overnight with a few pockets of heavy rain possible. It stays mild overnight with lows in the low 40s. Rain will last off an on through the day Saturday with temperatures rising into the upper 50s. Rain and thunderstorms Saturday night and some storms may be strong with damaging winds and large hail being the main threat. Best time frame for the strongest storms would be 7P.M.- 2 A.M.. Rain lingers Sunday with temperatures in the mid 50s early then cooling into the low 40s Sunday afternoon. Dry Monday with decreasing clouds, it will be cooler with highs near 50 degrees. Partly cloudy Tuesday with highs in the upper 40s. Some rain possible Wednesday with highs in the upper 40s. Back into the low 50s by Thursday under partly cloudy skies.
