LANSING, Mich. — Temperatures will remain slightly below average again today, and then we’ll begin to warm up to near normal temperatures on Wednesday before warming up to well above average Thursday and Friday.
Today will be partly sunny with highs in the lower 50s. Increasing cloud cover is expected this evening and then another round of showers will move in tonight and continue through early Wednesday morning. The showers will come to an end around daybreak on Wednesday, leading to partly sunny skies during the day with near normal temperatures in the upper 50s.
A warm front will bring more rain and possibly a few storms Thursday morning with afternoon highs warming into the mid to upper 60s. Our warmest day of the week will be Friday with highs expected to be near 70 degrees. A cold front will move through Friday afternoon, which will usher in another round of rain and possibly a few thunderstorms. That front will open the door for colder temperatures for the weekend.
Saturday will be partly sunny with highs in the upper 40s. Scattered rain showers are possible on Sunday with highs in the upper 40s. The chance for rain will continue into Monday with highs returning to the low 50s.
