LANSING, Mich. — Chilly temperatures continue today, but at least we will see more sunshine. A quick passing snow shower is possible this morning but it will be dry before the lunch hour. Highs this afternoon reaching the low 40s with partly to mostly sunny skies. Cold again tonight with lows in the upper 20s and increasing clouds turning mostly cloudy. Snow moves into the region Friday morning, a system will move south of Michigan through Ohio, but will be close enough to clip the area. Steady snow will last through the morning and early afternoon hours tomorrow with most of the snow staying south of I-96. Snow will last until about 2 P.M. before tapering off with some drizzle lingering after. Locations along and south of I-94 may pick up a few inches of snow accumulation mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. 1-3" of snowfall will be possible for locations south of Lansing. We will be dry by Friday evening with temperatures in the low 40s. Finally warming up this weekend. Highs in the low 50s Saturday with mostly sunny skies. A few spotty rain showers Sunday with highs in the mid 50s. We stick in the low 50s Monday with sunshine. A few more clouds Tuesday , but it will be warm with highs in the upper 50s. Scattered rain showers Wednesday with highs in the mid 50s.
