Some Showers and Maybe a Rumble of Thunder Tomorrow then Turning Beautiful

LANSING, Mich. — After some showers and storms this morning, we really saw conditions improve and the second half of the day was spectacular across Mid-Michigan.

Expect plenty more of this through the week but we do have to deal with a bit of a hiccup tomorrow as a secondary cold front moves through. This front will touch off a few showers across the region and some increased cloud cover, but most of us will stay dry as these will be very spotty in nature. Overnight we clear out heading into Tuesday with a northerly flow bringing cooler and drier air into Mid-Michigan. Tuesday starts off in the low 50s (jacket weather!) and then we warm up only into the mid 70s despite full sunshine through the day.

We stay mostly sunny then for the remainder of the workweek with seasonable temps in the upper 70s and low humidity. Clouds will thicken up Friday night and active weather will move in for the weekend with scattered thunderstorms through Saturday and some lingering showers Sunday morning.
