LANSING, Mich. — Today you will notice the temperature and the humidity creeping up. Highs today return to the upper 80s. A mix of clouds and sun are expected across the area today. A front moving into Mid-Michigan tonight will touch off showers and thunderstorms. Some areas could see locally heavy rainfall. Severe weather is not expected in our area tonight. It will be humid tonight with lows in the upper 60s. A few showers and thunderstorms may hold on into Thursday morning. Some clearing is expected Thursday afternoon. It will be humid Thursday with highs in the mid 80s. Mostly sunny for Friday with highs in the upper 80s.
