Some Rain in the Forecast, Lots of Sunshine and Serious Warmth Through Next Week

LANSING, Mich. — Our weather continues to cooperate with us as we head into the next workweek with high pressure still firmly in control over the region. Mostly clear skies tonight will set up a nice day Monday with a lot of sunshine and temps once again climbing into the 90s. Humidity will start to increase tomorrow so there will be a slight chance for a pop up shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon as the atmosphere becomes a bit more unstable.

Tuesday starts with a lot of sunshine but a weak disturbance will bring a slightly higher chance for storms in the afternoon. Those quickly move off then setting up a nice day Wednesday with another chance for an afternoon pop-up storm. A stronger disturbance moves through Thursday night and Friday bringing the best chance for rain and storms and then "slightly" cooler (but still unseasonably warm and humid) temps for next weekend after 90s through the week.
