LANSING, Mich. — Snow showers will move into the area tonight. These showers will be on-and-off to start, but will become more steady as the night goes on.
We expect our first messy commute of the season on Monday morning with snow sticking to the roads and slowing traffic, especially early in the day. Snow totals are expected to end up at a widespread 2-4" across the area, with locally higher amounts possible where some of the more intense and persistent snow bands set up shop.
Behind the snow, an Arctic shot of the coldest air we've seen since last winter dives into our region. High temperatures will only top out in the 20s early this week, with the record coldest high temperature likely falling on Tuesday. Bundle up and stay warm, and have those snow brushes ready tomorrow!
