Snow Picks Up Again & Continues Throughout Day

LANSING, Mich. — Snow picks up again this morning and will continue through the rest of the day. Winds will also be increasing from the north northeast at 10-20 MPH and will causing some blowing and drifting snow. Both the morning and evening commutes will be slick so use caution on the roads. Expect an additional 2-4” of snowfall by this evening mainly along and south of I-69. It will be cold today with temperatures near 30 degrees. Snow winds down tonight and we will dry out overnight with lows in the upper teens. Thursday is mostly cloudy, breezy, and cold. Highs reach the mid 20s tomorrow with wind chills down in the teens. Mainly dry Thursday, but some light lake effect snow will be possible in the afternoon. Friday the winds back off, but it stays cold with highs in the mid and upper 20s. The weekend looks better. Party sunny Saturday and Sunday with highs in the low and then upper 30s. Daytime highs in the 40s early next week with rain possible Monday and Tuesday.
