LANSING, Mich. — Mostly cloudy skies Saturday night will become overcast early on Sunday. Afternoon snow showers and flurries are possible, with the chance for some rain to mix in.

While it's possible that some locations could get a dusting of snow, most areas won't see anything accumulate. Showers of a mixed variety will taper off a few hours after sunset.

Monday will be a fairly nice day with lots of sunshine and temperatures falling just shy of 40. After a Tuesday that reflects Sunday's forecast, the coldest day of the week comes on Wednesday.

If highs wind up in the 20s on Wednesday, it will be the first time we haven't been warmer than 30 degrees since December 18th; this would also end a streak of three consecutive weeks of above average temperatures, assuming the forecast highs verify through Tuesday.

Temperatures warm back into the middle and upper 40s by late this coming week with a few chances for rain sprinkled into the forecast.
