LANSING, Mich. — Cooler and less humid weather on the way for the next several days before we warm up again this weekend. Light scattered showers across the area early today. Rain will only linger until about the lunch hour before we dry out. Mostly cloudy and cooler this afternoon with highs in the mid 70s. Some clearing takes place this evening and we will transition over to mostly clear skies tonight. It will be good sleeping weather tonight with lows in the mid 50s. Mostly to partly sunny skies Wednesday with highs stuck in the mid 70s, overall a nice and comfortable day. Thursday will follow a similar story with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 70s. Mostly sunny and warmer Friday with temperatures back up into the low 80s with increasing humidity. Scattered thunderstorms return to the area Saturday with some heavy rain possible. Temperatures remain in the low 80s Saturday. Temperatures rise into the mid 80s Sunday with thunderstorms lingering. A few thunderstorms remain possible Monday but it won't be a washout and it will get hot with daytime highs in the upper 80s.
