LANSING, Mich. — Another stormy day before we dry out just in time for the weekend. A few showers across the area this morning. but most folks are dry, scattered thunderstorms will begin popping up this afternoon with increasing coverage through this evening. Showers and storms will be most widespread from about 2- 10 P.M. Some storms may bring heavy downpours. Warm and humid again today with highs in the upper 70s. A cold front moves closer to us tonight and while we may see a short break from the rain early tonight more showers should moves through starting at around midnight. It will be muggy for one more night with lows down around 60 degrees. Scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder will linger through early Friday afternoon before the front passes through and we should dry out. Mostly cloudy the rest of the day Friday with highs in the low 70s. Cool, but pleasant this weekend. Mostly sunny Saturday and Sunday with highs in the mid 60s, it will be far less humid and should feel comfortable. Mostly sunny with highs in the low 70s Monday. Scattered showers and storms return Tuesday with highs in the low 70s. A few thunderstorms stick around Wednesday with high temperatures warming into the upper 70s.
