LANSING, Mich. — Increasing clouds through the day starting mostly sunny then transitioning to mostly cloudy skies by this afternoon. Highs reach the upper 40s but it will be breezy with a south southeast wind at 10-20 MPH. Rain moves in late this afternoon after 3 P.M. and will be widely scattered. Rain showers will eventually transition over to light scattered snow overnight as lows fall into the low 30s. Light snow lingers Friday morning with minor accumulations possible mainly on grassy surfaces. Colder tomorrow with highs in the upper 30s and it will be windy so it will feel even colder. Decreasing clouds will lead to sunshine Friday afternoon. This weekend we warm up. Highs in the upper 40s Saturday with mostly sunny skies, reaching the upper 50s Sunday also with sunny skies. Temperatures in the mid 50s continue Monday with scattered rain. Partly cloudy and cooling down some Tuesday with highs in the mid 40s. A chance for rain or mix Wednesday with highs near 40 degrees.
