LANSING, Mich. — Winds die down Saturday night but temperatures remain chilly, falling to near 30 once again. With southwest winds and early sunshine we'll get back into the middle 50s on Saturday.
Around sunset Saturday some showers start to roll in, and the rain carries throughout the overnight as scattered activity. Easter Sunday is looking to be fairly wet with milder temps once again.
We're closely watching an approaching burst of rain Sunday night that could bring some strong winds and thunderstorms along with it. Be sure to check back in as we continue to update the forecast throughout the weekend.
As the system exits early Monday, temperatures that start in the 50s will fall throughout the day with windy conditions beginning. By Monday afternoon wind chills will only be in the low 30s, possibly upper 20s.
Chilly air sticks around through next week with highs in the 40s, but the good news is that we will follow a slow but steady warming trend into next weekend.
