LANSING, Mich. — Today's showers and thunderstorms are a thing of the past and we will begin to see drier air usher into our region behind a passing cold front. Monday will feature lower humidity and a good deal of sunshine for a fantastic start to the workweek as high pressure builds in. For Tuesday, high pressure begins to slide eastward and clouds will thicken up with a slight chance for a shower in the afternoon. Our next system will approach Tuesday night bringing showers and thunderstorms through Wednesday before high pressure clears us back out for the second half of the workweek. Temps will be more seasonable (and less humid) through the week, but next weekend, the unseasonable warmth and humidity makes a return, with chances for storms both days.
