LANSING, Mich. — Rainy and windy today, but a little warmer. Highs reach the low 50s later this afternoon and we will see scattered to widespread rain across the area all day. On top of that it will be windy. South winds of 15-25 MPH sustained expected, with winds gusts near 35 MPH possible at times. Rain will wind down and wrap up early tonight. It will get cold with low temperatures falling into the low 30s. Cooler, but dry this weekend. Highs near 40 degrees Friday with decreasing clouds, turning mostly sunny by the afternoon. Mainly dry with partly sunny skies Saturday and Sunday with highs in the low 40s. There is a chance for light snow clipping areas south of I-94 Saturday evening but accumulation will be limited. Temperatures back up in the mid 40s early next week. Dry Monday before rain arrives Tuesday. Rain changes to a mix or some snow early Wednesday before we dry out that afternoon.
