LANSING, Mich. — We’re waking up to clouds and scattered rain as another cold front passes through the region. Temperatures will remain fairly steady today, only topping out in the low 40s for our daytime highs. Skies will begin to clear out this afternoon, so we should see some sunshine later today. Skies will remain mostly clear tonight with lows dropping into the mid 20s by daybreak Saturday.

We start the weekend with sunny skies on Saturday morning, and then clouds will be on the increase during the afternoon. Rain showers will build in late in the day on Saturday and will continue Saturday night and into Sunday. In addition to the rain showers, our winds will ramp up Saturday night and Sunday. Winds may gust over 40 mph at times as this system moves through the Great Lakes Region. As for temperatures, we’ll be cool on Saturday with highs in the mid 40s and then milder on Sunday with highs in the low to mid 50s.

Monday and Tuesday look calmer with partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 40s. A few more clouds will build in for Wednesday and Thursday with highs remaining in the 40s.
