LANSING, Mich. — A mostly cloudy Tuesday night turns rainy long past midnight with a few storms possible.

Some of those showers and a storm linger into the first half of Wednesday, becoming much more widely scattered later in the day.

Beyond the evening, conditions look likely to dry out for the rest of the week, with temperatures running right around normal.

There will be a small bit of leftover moisture for isolated light rain or drizzle on Thursday, but most will simply find themselves under the clouds.

Sunshine should win out on Friday and Saturday, with temperatures climbing into the weekend. Highs will be near 90 along with humidity.

Stray storm chances Sunday and Monday will be welcome blips in an otherwise mainly dry period as we near the final week of July.
