LANSING, Mich. — Rain and snow showers continue to move through the area as of early Sunday morning, with roads reported to be slick near and north of I-96. These showers will continue to fall steadily through mid-morning, becoming more intermittent as the day goes on.
Folks north of I-96 will have the greatest chance for icy roads for much of the day, but eventually roads will become slippery for all of us as the overnight temperatures fall below freezing. Monday morning could be a slower commute, so be sure to give a few extra minutes when you head out the door.
If there's any brighter news, it's that a lot of the first week of December is looking dry with fairly seasonable temperatures. There are currently no other developing or approaching systems for our area after today's storm rolls through. Drive safely and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
