LANSING, Mich. — A mix of sun and clouds today with highs in the mid 30s, average temperatures for mid- December. Mostly cloudy tonight with lows falling into the low 20s, a few flurries possible just south of the Michigan state line. Tuesday starts with a few clouds before turning mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs will be chilly in the low 30s around the freezing mark. Increasing clouds Tuesday night as a cold front moves through. Lows in the upper teens overnight. A few lake effect snow flurries possible Wednesday morning and it will be cold with highs struggling to reach the low 20s. Temperatures rebound back into the low 30s Thursday with partly cloudy skies. Warming up Friday through the weekend with highs in the upper 30s to around 40 degrees. A small chance for flurries Saturday otherwise dry the rest of the week.
