LANSING, Mich. — A quiet day across the area with warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine. The same trend from earlier this week continues today with highs in the mid 80s this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. It will be nice today if not just a little humid. Mostly clear tonight with just a few clouds and lows falling into the low 60s. Friday will feature mostly sunny skies for a good chunk of the day with highs in the mid 80s. There will be a few scattered thunderstorms that pop up Friday afternoon and evening. Storms tomorrow will be widely scattered so not everyone will see rain. Any activity will wind down around the time the sunsets and we will dry out and clear out overnight. Slightly cooler this weekend with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Mostly sunny skies both days with lower humidity so it should be pleasant all weekend. Mostly sunny again Monday with highs back up in the low 80s with rising humidity. Highs soar into the upper 80s on Tuesday! We will be dry through the day with a chance for scattered thunderstorm overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Scattered thunderstorms will heavy rain and gusty winds possible Wednesday with highs in the low 80s.
