LANSING, Mich. — Another comfortable night is ahead with lows in the middle 50s under partly cloudy skies. Humidity is low and will stay that way until late Friday.
A beautiful day across Mid-Michigan on Thursday with a mix of sun and clouds as the high temperatures reach the upper 70s to near 80. With a gentle breeze and low humidity, it will truly be a pleasant day.
On Friday the heat returns as highs reach the middle 80s ahead of some late day thunderstorms. Most of these storms will arrive past the dinner hours and will be on the strong to severe side. We'll be keeping a very close eye on this.
After the storms leave early Saturday, a dry stretch begins with the heat sticking around through at least the Independence Day weekend. Temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s will be expected during this period.
