Pleasant Few Days Ahead Then Turning Unsettled Mid-week

LANSING, Mich. — Today has been a great day across Mid-Michigan with a mix of sun and clouds, seasonable temps and comfortable humidity levels. We keep the nice weather rolling tonight through Sunday, although a weak disturbance to our south could touch off a couple of showers tomorrow, especially in our southern zones. Otherwise Sunday will be partly sunny with temps getting to around 80 degrees.

High pressure works in to start off the next workweek, so Monday and Tuesday will be a couple more great days featuring a lot of sunshine and seasonable temps, but we do start to heat up a bit on Tuesday ahead of another approaching cold front. Clouds will thicken up late Tuesday and showers/thunderstorms will enter the forecast for late Tuesday night and Wednesday. Beyond Wednesday, the front will stall out overhead, bringing a continued threat for showers and storms through Friday morning. To finish out the week, we see temps climb once again to near the 90-degree mark.
