LANSING, Mich. — Happy Thanksgiving Mid-Michigan! Watch out for a few pockets of dense fog around the area this morning. Fog will clear at around 10 A.M. and after that we will then be overcast for most of the day. We may manage a few peeks of sunshine later this afternoon as skies turn mostly cloudy. Highs in the mid to upper 40s. Staying mainly cloudy tonight with lows in the upper 30s.

Friday also starts under the clouds, but we will see clearing take place through the day and we will end mostly sunny by Friday evening. High temperatures tomorrow stick in the mid 40s. The weekend looks nice with plenty of sunshine. Mostly sunny Saturday and partly cloudy Sunday. Highs in the mid to upper 40s both days.

Next week looks messy. Right now Monday and Tuesday feature a mix of rain and snow both days with the potential for accumulating snow Monday night into Tuesday. There are still many details that need to be refined with this forecast and we will keep you updated as they come in. Temperatures will hover in the mid 30s both days and we may flip back and forth between rain and snow. The area of low pressure responsible for the storm moves east Wednesday and we will be left with off and on scattered lake effect snow Wednesday with highs in the mid 30s.
