LANSING, Mich. — Light rain and drizzle lingers early today. We will dry out this afternoon, but the clouds hold tough. It will be overcast and cooler today with highs in the low 70s. We remain dry for most of the night time hours. Lows in the low 60s. Storms do return very early Friday morning. Thunderstorms move in to the area after 3 A.M. Rain and storms then move through the state during the morning hours, followed by a second line of storms Friday afternoon and evening. Some of the storms Friday afternoon could be strong with gusty winds and heavy rain. Storm activity eventually pushes east by sun set tomorrow and we will quickly dry out. High temperatures tomorrow reach the upper 70s. The weekend is quiet with sunshine Saturday and highs in the mid 70s. A chance for light showers Sunday with highs near 80 degrees.
