One More Warm Day, Then Cold

70s, 60s, even 50s; all disappear for a while

LANSING, Mich. — Warming temperatures tonight will be the last time temps warm up significantly for a while.

Starting our Friday in the 60s, we'll reach around 70 before a strong cold front brings thunderstorms and much cooler temperatures behind it.

Our high should occur around noon before temps plummet in the afternoon. By 6:00PM, we should be in the lower 50s.

This will kick off a long string of days with highs in the 40s and lows near freezing, so it's possible some wet snowflakes could mix in with rain showers, at times.

Get ready for a long haul below average; it doesn't seem like it will let up soon.
