LANSING, Mich. — One more mild day before cold air moves in Friday through Saturday. Mostly sunny today with highs in the low 60s. There is a very small chance for a few spots of drizzle mainly east of Lansing as a cold front drops south later in the day. Getting cold tonight with lows falling below freezing to around 30 degrees, patchy frost possible Friday morning. Friday will be chilly with highs only reaching the mid 40s under partly cloudy skies. A few isolated snow flurries can't be ruled out Friday, but most folks stay dry all day. A hard freeze is likely Friday night into Saturday morning with a Freeze Watch in effect from 11 P.M. Friday through 9 A.M. Saturday. Lows fall into the mid 20s by Saturday morning so be sure to cover up or bring inside any sensitive plants that you don't want damaged by the cold. Mostly sunny Saturday afternoon with highs in the upper 40s. Light scattered rain likely for Mother's Day Sunday with mostly cloudy skies otherwise. Highs stay well below average with temperatures only reaching the low 50s. Partly cloudy with daytime highs near 50 degrees Monday. Mostly sunny Tuesday with highs in the mid 50s. Back to the 60s Wednesday with some rain later in the day.
