LANSING, Mich. — One last rainy day so grab the umbrella. Today will be similar to yesterday with scattered rain showers and the chance for isolated rumbles of thunder. Plan for on and off showers for your Thursday and it gets even cooler with highs only reaching into the mid 50s. Brief heavy downpours will be possible today, especially in the afternoon. Rain will slowly taper off tonight, and skies will become partly cloudy. We’ll likely wake up to some patchy frost on Friday morning with low temperatures dropping into the mid 30s tonight.
Finally catching a break from the rain Friday and Saturday. A mix of clouds and sun tomorrow, but there should be more sun. Chilly Friday afternoon with highs only reaching the low 50s. We may see a brief showers or two late in the afternoon, but most folks stay dry. Cold again overnight and frost is likely with lows once again in the mid 30s. Saturday looks similar with highs in the low to mid 50s and partly sunny skies.
Rain chances will return Sunday with temperatures in the low 50s. Warmer air and sunshine is expected on Monday with highs in the upper 50s. Yet, another chance of rain will build in on Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid 60s.
