LANSING, Mich. — Summer-like weather sticks around for a few more days. Hot and humid today with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s this afternoon. There is a chance for an isolated thunderstorms popping up late this afternoon or early this evening, but most folks stay dry without seeing any rain at all. Warm and muggy tonight with lows in the upper 60s under partly cloudy skies. Wednesday looks like it will be similar to today. Hot and humid again with highs in the mid 80s and a fair amount of sunshine. Scattered thunderstorms possible Wednesday afternoon but they will be very hit or miss so not everyone will see storms. Thursday will hold the best chance of seeing thunderstorms as a system pulls a cold front through the state. Rain and storms will be more widespread with pockets of heavy rain will be possible. Still warm with highs in the low 80s Thursday. Friday through the weekend will be cooler after the front moves through. Highs in the low 70s Friday with a few showers lingering though the morning hours. Mostly sunny Saturday and Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Lows 70s again by Monday with plenty of sunshine.
