LANSING, Mich. — Light to moderate snow moving into the area this morning. Steady snow will last from about 7 A.M. until 1 P.M. this afternoon. The heaviest snow will fall along and south of I-94 collecting on grassy and elevated surfaces, some roads may become slick so use caution. Snow will change over to a light scattered mix later this afternoon before coming to an end this evening. Snowfall amounts of 1-3" will be possible for locations along and south of I-94 including Jackson. Folks near Lansing may see up to 1" of snow with little more than a dusting for locations north of I-69. Temperatures today will eventually reach the low 40s later in the day. Clearing skies overnight turning mostly clear with lows in the upper 20s. Finally warming up this weekend. Mostly sunny with highs in the low 50s Saturday. A few isolated off and on rain showers Sunday, otherwise mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid 50s. Mostly sunny Monday with highs in the mid 50s. A few more clouds Tuesday with temperatures holding around 55 degrees. Daytime highs in the upper 50s Wednesday with partly cloudy skies. A few scattered rain showers Thursday and it will be warm with highs in the low 60s!
