More Sunshine and Highs in the 80s

LANSING, Mich. — More of the same for the next several days as quiet weather takes hold. Mostly sunny today and just a little warmer than Monday with highs in the low 80s this afternoon. Humidity remains lows so it will feel comfortable. There will be a few more fair weather clouds south of Lansing, but we all stay dry. Mainly clear tonight with lows in the upper 50s which is close to average for mid-June. Another sunny day with daytime highs in the mid 80s Wednesday. Turning the heat up a few more degrees Thursday with highs in the upper 80s and mostly sunny skies. One final day of sunshine Friday, it will be hot with highs in the low 90s. Humidity will be on the rise by the end of the week and it will feel sticky Friday through the weekend. Partly sunny Saturday with a high near 90 degrees. A few scattered thunderstorms likely Saturday afternoon and evening. Sunday is Father's Day and we will likely see a few pop up thunderstorms and it will be slightly cooler with highs in the mid 80s. Monday of next week also features a few thunderstorms with temperatures in the low 80s.
