LANSING, Mich. — A copy and paste kind of day in store, hot and humid again with afternoon thunderstorms. Partly cloudy for most of the day and it will be hot with highs reaching the mid 80s. Scattered thunderstorms may pop up this afternoon, like yesterday they will be hit or miss so not everyone sees the rain. Any storms that do pop up may contain heavy rain and gusty winds. Storms should taper off after dark, but a few small cells of rain may linger overnight. Mostly cloudy with lows in the mid 60s tonight. More thunderstorms expected Thursday afternoon and evening, it stays warm with highs near 80 degrees. Storms may take a short break for a period early Thursday night before a cold front moves through and brings a line of showers and storms through early Friday morning. Rain lingers through about noon Friday before we dry out with mostly cloudy skies left over. Cooler Friday with highs in the low 70s. A pleasant, but cooler weekend in store. Highs in the mid 60s Saturday and Sunday with mostly sunny skies, it will be far less humid. Monday will be mostly sunny with highs near 70 degrees. A chance for more showers and storms Tuesday with highs in the low 70s.
