LANSING, Mich. — We have a beautiful Tuesday ahead of us with plenty of sunshine and temperatures slightly above average for this time of year. Skies will be mostly sunny with high temperatures topping out in the mid 60s this afternoon. Skies will remain mostly clear tonight with seasonable chilly temperatures with lows in the low 40s.
Wednesday will start sunny then we see increasing cloud cover with skies expected to become mostly cloudy in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain mild with highs in the mid 60s for one more day.
Cooler air will build in on Thursday with another cold front bringing a few scattered rain showers. High temperatures will be in the mid 50s early Thursday. It gets even cooler Friday through the weekend. Highs on Friday will only reach to near 50 degrees. Friday night low temperatures will plummet into the lower 30s, so we’re expecting widespread frost by Saturday morning. Temperatures will stick in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees for highs Saturday afternoon with a few isolated showers possible late in the day. Sunday will bring a better chance of rain as yet another cold front moves through the area. Plan for highs in the lower 50s Sunday afternoon.
