LANSING, Mich. — Warm temperatures and increasing overnight clouds will eventually give way to thunderstorms well after midnight. There is a small risk for severe weather; main threats are heavy rain, damaging winds and small hail. Because this is an overnight threat, have a way to be weather-aware just in case.

A few storms linger into Wednesday morning, but clouds will decrease throughout the day. A slow start in the temperature department will be salvaged by some late-day sunshine to get us back into the 80s.

Outside of a small shower chance Friday afternoon, the forecast calls for dry conditions over much of the next seven days. The weekend will see highs in the 70s with low humidity and lots of sunshine, otherwise high temperatures will still generally run in the 80s.
