LANSING, Mich. — High pressure that brought us a beautiful, seasonably cool, weekend will depart eastward tomorrow. A return flow will develop behind the departing high coupled with an approaching warm front, which will bring a warm-up Tuesday through the next weekend with temps in the 80s each day, and plenty of humidity Tuesday and Wednesday.

As high pressure exits the region tomorrow, clouds will thicken and lower through the day as a warm front approaches looking to bring showers and storms for Monday night. Tuesday starts off okay and we see a mix of sun and clouds, but by the overnight hours, we will see a renewed chance for showers and storms as another disturbance passes through. Some storms could be severe. Unsettled weather sticks around for Wednesday but by Thursday we return to sunny conditions that will persist into the next weekend.
