LANSING, Mich. — Hot and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Partly cloudy, hot, and humid early today with highs that reach the upper 80s and dew points that reach the low 70s making it feel soupy outside. Scattered showers and thunderstorms move in this afternoon as a cold front drops through the state. Thunderstorms will continue through this evening and some may be strong with gusty winds and heavy rain. All activity should wrap after about 10 P.M., it will stay muggy and warm overnight with lows in the upper 60s.
Starting with clouds Tuesday morning, but we will clear out and turn mostly sunny Tuesday afternoon. Cooler tomorrow with highs in the low to mid 80s. Feeling more comfortable as well with falling humidity.
Staying nice and warm through the rest of the work week. Mostly sunny Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the mid 80s and comfortable humidity levels. Mainly dry Friday with partly sunny skies. Temperatures stay in the mid 80s with increasing humidity. A few scattered thunderstorms possible Friday evening, but most folks stay dry.
This weekend may be a bit stormy. A chance for spotty thunderstorms both Saturday and Sunday, but neither day looks to be a washout. Temperatures stay stuck in the low to mid 80s. It looks like we will dry out by Monday of next week.
