LANSING, Mich. — Humid to start the work week, but thankfully, relief will come this evening with cooler temperatures and falling dew points. A cold front passing through the area today bringing with it a few pop up showers and possibly an isolated thunderstorms this afternoon. Rain will be hit or miss today, and if you aren't seeing rain expected partly cloudy skies. Highs today reach the mid 80s and it will stay humid through this evening before we see a break from the sticky feeling tonight. Partly cloudy overnight and it will feel more comfortable with lower humidity levels. Low temperatures drop into the low 60s tonight.
Tuesday will be a nice day with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 80s. Dew points will be in the low 60s so it won't be as humid and should feel comfortable if you want to get outside. Wednesday will be partly cloudy with highs in the low 80s. A slight chance for rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, but most locations stay dry.
Weather is then quiet for the rest of the week and into the weekend. Mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s Thursday through Sunday with comfortable humidity levels.
