LANSING, Mich. — Sunshine continues today and we will start to feel hot. Highs reach the mid to upper 80s this afternoon. We will see a slight increase in humidity today, but it won’t feel too oppressive outside. The humidity will be noticeable, but not too uncomfortable. Clear skies again tonight with lows that dip into the low 60s. Humidity should stay low for one more night so it won’t feel too muggy.

Hot and sunny through the weekend and it looks to stay dry. Sunny saturday afternoon with highs reaching the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. Clear conditions Saturday night with lows in the mid 60s. Sunday looks to stay dry as the front meant to bring us rain fizzles out before reaching mid-Michigan. There is a slight chance for an isolated shower in the afternoon, but most folks won’t see any rain. Partly cloudy with highs in the upper 80s Sunday afternoon.

The trend of above average temperatures then continues into next week. Partly cloudy with highs in the mid 80s Monday, there may be another small chance for a stray shower as a warm front lifts into the state, but again most folks stay dry. Hot with temperatures in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees Tuesday under mostly sunny skies. More sunshine Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Similar story Thursday, but there is a small chance for scattered thunderstorms Thursday night into Friday.
