LANSING, Mich. — Two more days of hot and humid conditions before we cool down slightly Friday through Monday. Mostly to partly sunny today with highs in the low to mid 90s and heat indices in the mid to potentially upper 90s. A few isolated showers or storms may pop up this afternoon, but like yesterday they will be hit or miss so not everyone will see the rain. Partly cloudy and dry tonight and it will be warm and muggy with low temperatures in the low 70s. Thursday is also hot with highs in the low to mid 90s. Heat index values will once again reach the mid to upper 90s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms start late Thursday afternoon and will continue overnight. Scattered storms will linger through the day Friday and as a result it won't be as hot with highs in the mid 80s. This weekend, for now, looks dry with highs in the mid 80s under partly cloudy skies both Saturday and Sunday. Monday will be our last cooler day with highs in the mid 80s and plenty of sunshine. Temperatures return back to the low 90s Tuesday of next week under mostly sunny skies.
