LANSING, Mich. — Hot and sunny again today as we prepare for a heat wave of highs in the 90s or hotter for at least the next 6 days. Daytime highs this afternoon will reach the upper 80s for one last day under mostly sunny skies. Lows tonight fall into the mid 60s with mainly clear conditions. Humidity remains steady with dew points in the upper 50s to low 60s so it will feel pretty much the same as it has the last several days. Temperatures reach the low 90s Thursday and Friday with full sunshine. Lows both nights in the upper 60s and we stay dry. Saturday is the Fourth of July and it will be hot and sunny with highs in the low to mid 90s. Saturday night is mostly clear and a bit muggy with lows in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. Firework shows will be fine with nothing weather wise to worry about. A few clouds Sunday, but it stays hot with highs in the mid 90s. Mostly sunny Monday with another day of temperatures in the low to mid 90s. Partly cloudy Tuesday with highs in the low 90s.
